LoadShedding: A problem?.....Not Exactly

As we all know in last few years power crisis in Nepal has risen so much that we are facing power cut off 18 hrs a day. Each person may have their own perspective how to react in this. But, i should frankly say that I'm feeling like Robinson Crusoe living in the desolate island. I'm free but am confused what to do? Sometime i sit down and start thinking what to do? Here I'll not be able to find my way out of this question. I often goes to sleep thinking about how to utilize my 18 hrs.

Nothing to do no movie, no music, no computer
so no assignment, no net. What to do now?
Novels- i already finished two this week,
Books- i hate that coz i don't like to be a mug,
Newspaper- won't hold more than an hour,
Magazine- an hour more!FM- reckless idea,
i-pod- i don't have one,
why not do notes- oh god i don't know what notes really means,
then study yaar - shit, no way bro its not exam yaar.
so what?Stay at home and sleep, sleep and sleep.

But some of you may think why stay at home? Why not try something interesting? What about going out and have fun with friends? By the way it is not possible at least here in Kathmandu. When you plan on going to movie or somewhere out, there will be a strike, if not traffic jam, if not no petrol so not a single vehicle in the road. So, you'll reach your cinema after it is already an interval or sometime who knows it may be ending also. Hence it won't be a good idea.
Now see I'm hopeless. All i tried but could hardly spend 3 or 4 hours but what to do about remaining 13 or 14 hrs. Hence I'm here sleeping in my bed helplessly. But you know i like it and enjoying myself coz no more assignment as i don't have to work with my PC.
Last Friday and Saturday there was no load shedding. I started to explore my mind to find the solution and conclude that this was possible because it was raining and it is summer so snow is melting and river level is rising. What a shame isn't it? And this is true. We are living in 21st century where others are the master of their wish, and can do what they wish by just pushing a switch or just clicking a button. But we are here waiting for nature's sympathy on us.
But apart from all this criticism i would like to share one good news that will make you amazed. There is a village in Nepal where people switch on their light 24 hrs because they have excess power . Isn't it amazing? (.........contd. next time)
